NCAA Commitment Round Up: 25 boy's commit from the Deep South in July

We are pleased to report that in July a total of 25 high school boys from the Deep South have verbally committed to play NCAA lacrosse, with 2 of them joining D1 programs. Please note, our area of coverage in the Deep South consists of the 9 states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.


Of those 9 states, Florida had the most commits with 9, followed by 6 each in Georgia and North Carolina, 3 in Tennessee, and finally 1 in South Carolina. Here is a list of the players from the Deep South who committed to college programs in the month of July:

Will Adams - 2021 Attackman at Saint Andrew's School (Sweetlax) in Boca Raton committed to play DIII lacrosse at Amherst College (MA) in the New England Small College Athletic Conference

Kevin Croteau - 2021 Midfielder at Oviedo High School (Always Sunny) in Oviedo committed to play DII lacrosse at Saint Leo University (FL) in the Sunshine State Conference


Drew Flagg - 2021 Attackman at Forest High School in Ocala (Sweetlax Krakens) committed to play DII lacrosse at Flagler College (FL) in the Peach Belt Conference


Chase Jackson - 2020 Attackman at Steinbrenner High School (Bay Area Sand Sharks) in Lutz committed to play NAIA lacrosse and football at Webber International University (FL) in The Sun Conference


Reef Kabalin - 2021 Defenseman at Jupiter High School (Sweetlax) in Jupiter committed to play DIII lacrosse at Wesleyan University (CT) in the New England Small College Athletic Conference

Jacob Limon - 2021 Defenseman at Oak Hall High School in Gainesville (Sweetlax Krakens) committed to play DII lacrosse at Flagler College (FL) in the Peach Belt Conference


Ben Mayer - 2021 Attackman at Calvary Christian High School (3D Gulf Coast) in Clearwater committed to play DIII lacrosse at York College (PA) in the Capital Athletic Conference



Conor O'Neill - 2021 Goalie at Salisbury School (CT) transferred from Riverview High School in Sarasota (Sweetlax) before the 2019 season, committed to play DI lacrosse at the University of Utah in the Pacific-12 Conference


Bryce Pegram - 2021 Midfielder at Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach committed to play DII lacrosse at the University of Montevallo (AL) in the Peach Belt Conference

Carson Brown - 2021 Goalie at North Forsyth High School in Cumming committed to play DII lacrosse at the University of Montevallo (AL) in the Peach Belt Conference


Steven Crawford II - 2021 Midfielder at The Westminster Schools (LB3 Thunder) in Atlanta committed to play DIII lacrosse at Amherst College (MA) in the New England Small College Athletic Conference


Drew Downes - 2021 Attackman at The Westminster Schools (LB3 Thunder) in Atlanta committed to play DIII lacrosse at Rhodes College (TN) in the Southern Athletic Association


Dylan Farley - 2021 FOGO/Midfielder at The Westminster Schools (LB3 Thunder) in Atlanta committed to play DIII lacrosse at Williams College (MA) in the New England Small College Athletic Conference


Finn McCarthy - 2021 Attackman at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School (LB3 Thunder) in Roswell committed to play DIII lacrosse at Middlebury College (VT) in the New England Small College Athletic Conference

Connor Moore - 2021 Midfielder at Roswell High School (LB3 Thunder) in Roswell committed to play DIII lacrosse at Lynchburg College (VA) in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference

Colton Curtis - 2021 Defenseman at Myers Park High School (24/7 Lacrosse) in Charlotte committed to play DIII lacrosse at Bates College (ME) in the New England Small College Athletic Conference

Brock Dempsey - 2021 Attackman at Apex High School (Team 91 Carolina) in Apex committed to play DII lacrosse in Conference Carolinas at Barton College (NC)


Matthew Lord - 2021 Goalie at Laney High School (Cape Fear Shamrocks) in Wilmington committed to play DII lacrosse in Conference Carolinas at Barton College (NC)


Nick Lord - 2021 Attackman at Laney High School (Cape Fear Shamrocks) in Wilmington committed to play DII lacrosse in Conference Carolinas at Barton College (NC)


Sam Lord - 2021 Attackman at Laney High School (Cape Fear Shamrocks) in Wilmington committed to play DII lacrosse in Conference Carolinas at Barton College (NC) (technically he verbally committed in the spring and his 2 brothers followed in July)

JT Sents - 2021 LSM at Holly Springs High School (Goblin Lacrosse) in Holly Springs committed to play DII lacrosse in Conference Carolinas at Barton College (NC)


South Carolina (1)

Mac Reilly - 2021 Midfield/Attack at Fort Mill High School (24/7 Lacrosse) in Fort Mill committed to play DII lacrosse at Lander University (SC) in the Peach Belt Conference


Tennessee (3)


Ramsay Cole - 2021 Goalie at Montgomery Bell Academy (No Excuse) in Nashville committed to play DIII lacrosse at Centre College (KY) in the Southern Athletic Association


Bryce Fields - 2021 Goalie at Brentwood High School (Bama Elite & Tri Star) in Brentwood committed to play DII lacrosse at the University of Montevallo (AL) in the Peach Belt Conference


Luke Mryncza - 2021 Midfielder at Montgomery Bell Academy (No Excuse) in Nashville committed to play DI lacrosse at the Virginia Military Institute (VA) in the Southern Conference
